Automation on different networks
Automation on different networks
Some of the networks we support use automated sharing in different ways. For a broad overview of how our automation works, see Our automation.
Our Facebook automation has two unique features:
- Image-link automation
- Performance goals
Image-link automation
Optimum performance on Facebook today requires a balance of shares types, and images should form a significant part of your sharing volume.
When you have "Share automatically?" ON for one of your Facebook pages, and have chosen Optimal automation for New Shares and/or Reshares, Echobox will automatically make image-link shares for you.

Our algorithm learns over time, and adapts the proportion of image vs. link shares to give you the best possible performance.
Automated image shares use your Page's image template for define things like their appearance, logo, overlay text and URL placement. For more on how to set these, see Turning articles into images with Echobox.
If you choose Custom automation for New Shares and/or Reshares, you can define your ideal proportion of image to link sharing.

Our automation will divide your shares between images and links as closely to your chosen proportion as possible.
On Instagram, we only automate New Shares, and always use your Custom choices about share volumes.

Choose how many image posts and how many image Stories you want us to share automatically each day.
Our automation will randomly select articles for sharing as a post or a story. It will not share the same article as an image and as a story.
The appearance of your automated image posts and image Stories can be defined in your Echobox Instagram Page's template settings – see Turning articles into images with Echobox for more information.
